About Tobias
My name is Tobias Bellhouse, and I have long possessed an all-consuming love of History, Religious Studies and Languages. My primary areas of focus have been the Russian Revolution and Medieval Christian history. Thanks to these interests, I have managed to gain a BA at the School of Oriental and African Studies and a Master's Degree at King's College London. I would very much wish to be a tutor as it would provide the opportunity to interact with curious individuals who are eager to learn, and I hope to learn a great deal from them as well. My method of tutoring is based upon both my intense interest in my subjects and my wish to encourage my students towards curious and unusual areas of academic study. As such, I hope to focus upon generally understudied areas of well-known historical periods, such as the political chaos of the early Russian Revolution and the religious diversity of Medieval Latin Christendom. I also extend the same enthusiasm to languages such as German. Thus, I hope to encourage my students towards their own future independent interest in these subjects.
