About Dawn
Hi there!
My name is Dawn and I am a writer and journalist from Canada. I have a diploma in photojournalism from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, where I also worked as an editor at the student-run newspaper. Later, worked as a journalist for two years at a newspaper in British Columbia.
I have a lot of experience with teaching as I worked as an English tutor throughout high school, as well as in College. I also taught figure skating for six years to children ages 2 to 15, and coached baseball to children ages 10 and under for two years.

My teaching method is to make learning exciting. The main thing I have learned throughout my teaching experience is that if a person is bored during a lesson, their focus will drift elsewhere and they are no longer learning.
I approach my lessons with an upbeat attitude to help keep students engaged and having fun during the lessons.
