About Yoyo

For my GCSEs, I did EDEXCEL English Literature, EDEXCEL English Language, EDEXCEL Mathematics, AQA Biology, AQA Chemistry, AQA Physics, EDUQAS B Geography, OCR Computer Science, EDEXCEL Statistics, AQA Psychology, AQA Chinese, OCR Additional Maths and managed to get grade 9 for all my subjects. I speak 3 languages: Cantonese, English and Mandarin, so I teach my lessons in these languages, depending on your preferences.

My experience for KS3/4 is definitely one of the most up-to-date as I have just finished Secondary school education. So I am able to help with the academic struggle during this time and I can surely provide you with the perfect support you will need to be exceeding in your academic performance.

Not only do I have experience in helping my peers with confusing content, but I also run sessions for younger students to gain more insight into social sciences. So I can assure you that I can patiently and effectively help you during our lessons.

About the lesson

I would teach you the most efficient and precise methods in approaching both revision and exams, guiding you to develop study habits and to maximise your potential.

Not only will I thoroughly explain any content that you are confused about, but I can also help you organise revision timetables, developing an independent learning skill. I have great experience with textbooks and resources for revision, so I can provide you with the most effective resources for both the knowledge and the practice of the knowledge.

In my lessons, I will first teach you the content until the concept is thoroughly understood. Then test the knowledge by recalling if the content needs memorisation, or by doing practice questions if the content needs application. Afterwards, based on the tests, we can go through any areas of confusion or move on to more difficult questions. At the end, revision work may be set for further consolidation, depending on your understanding of the topic.

Lessons can range from 30 minutes to an hour, specifically dedicated to secondary school students who want a boost in their grades for Maths and Science!
