About Ervin
The scent of old books in my San Juan classroom sparked a lifelong curiosity that led me to earn my BA Modern Languages and Instituto Cervantes Teacher Training credentials. I specialize in helping US-born students refine their native intuition into formal command. Developing clear communication allows you to bridge the gap between home dialects and professional expectations.

Starting our first meeting involves a diagnostic assessment that reveals your 9.0 proficiency baseline immediately. Analyzing your current grammar patterns helps us map out a strategy that targets weak spots while reinforcing your existing vocabulary base.
My 13 years of teaching inform the way I structure your practice regarding verb conjugation and pronunciation. During our time, we focus on listening practice and conversational fluency to ensure you feel confident in any setting. We utilize role play and dialogue practice to simulate real-world scenarios, followed by interview preparation and cultural context exploration to round out your skills. Your writing skills receive direct feedback during every check-in.
