About Petra
I am the daughter of a Spaniard and grew up speaking Spanish
I studied French and Spanish at the university of Waterloo But I am most proud of the fact that I ran a full Spanish program at a small high school in Sarnia

My lessons are fun and easy
I focus on vocabulary and grammar using oral activities and worksheets
I must be doing something right as my students keep coming back for more
I presently supply teach and have two night courses at the local community centre
I was awarded best Spanish teacher in Ontario by the Spanish embassy in 2003 and 2013 which afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with other Spanish teachers from North America in a 3 week program at the university of Salamanca
