About Maria
I am a Dominican teacher with a great experience covering all levels of school, preschool, elementary, high school and adult education. I have a great passion for teaching. I have a strong education in educational areas and I have personal qualities that help me to do quality work.
I work with a positive and flexible style. I am empathetic with my students and I understand that learning is a personal process that must be respected. I think that motivation is fundamental and that the student feels appreciated and accepted by her teacher.

I work with a positive and flexible style. I make my students feel well received by me, that they feel my empathy and respect. I try to know their interests and through these interests get closer to them. Motivation is very important in my classes and the sense of humor too. I do not forget that language is perhaps the most direct means of cultural expression and since Hispanic culture is so rich and varied, I made my classes an expression of it.
My classes are an interactive experience between the students, the Hispanic culture and myself.
