About Adam

Since lockdown I have been teaching maths to children from Year 5 up to Year 11. My teaching style is informal, dynamic, and student centred - all students learn at their own pace and in their own style. I have experience in managing to easily explain things that first appear quite complicated and I have a lot of patience.
I understand that in maths you can understand something, then later find it difficult to remember the technique, and I find ways of explaining technique in the simplest possible way, so that all students can naturally progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are informal and where possible applicable to real word scenarios. For younger children concepts are 'gamified' where possible and for older children subject matter is related to real world scenarios.

I can break down difficult concepts in manageable chunks that are easy to understand.
