About Stephanie
I have 26 years of experience teaching in Texas, in all grade levels. Most of my experience took place in a full classroom environment, but has also included tutoring opportunities. I decided to pursue English Language Arts at the suggestion of my Shakespeare professor when I achieved one of the three highest grades in his class.

My gifts as a creative individual allow me to make connections between established knowledge and new concepts, as well as connecting your hobbies and interests to literature and reading elements. It is important to me that my students enjoy reading and I encourage my students to read about things that interest them first and foremost, which fosters a love of both reading and learning.
