About Diego
"Teaching singing is my way of giving back the lessons I learned while standing on stages for 13 years with nothing but a microphone. Do you ever wonder why your voice gets tired after just 10 minutes of belting out a chorus? I spent 7 years gigging constantly, which taught me the hard way how to maintain my vocal health without losing the soul of the performance.
Having worked with 178 students ranging from absolute beginners to those prepping for serious grade exams, I have seen every vocal struggle imaginable. My Berklee degree gives me the technical edge, but my background in gospel and blues keeps my ears tuned to the raw emotion behind the notes. I enjoy helping people navigate the gap between their self-taught habits and the professional techniques that actually keep a voice safe for a lifetime.

"Phrasing is often the biggest mystery for singers who feel like they are constantly running out of breath. It is a puzzle.
We will focus on the mechanics of your belting technique and how to use your microphone to hide imperfections while you build your confidence. My 13 years of stage experience helps me show you how to treat your voice as a fragile instrument that also needs to pack a punch. This approach works for students at any level because it comes straight from the gospel and blues traditions I love.
Homework vocal drills assigned after every session will make sure your progress does not vanish the second you leave my door. Just reach out whenever you are ready to start."
