About Zuri
"Performing for 13 years across NYC venues shaped my understanding of what truly matters on stage. Solid technique is the only shortcut. I prioritize rhythm, timing, and hand independence as core pillars of musicianship. Integrating jazz improvisation or sight transposition becomes natural once the basics are secure.
Music theory and scales are not chores but tools for expression. My 196 students have taught me how to communicate these concepts clearly. I also emphasize pedaling technique and chord voicing for a complete sound. Ear training and accompaniment skills round out my instruction.
You will gain mastery over the keyboard through deliberate, calm practice. I deliver results."
