About Renea
The sound of a piano key striking feels like the start of a conversation. My 13 years of experience include accompaniment skills, classical repertoire, and jazz improvisation.
I focus on hand independence and pedaling technique for every student. You will find me patient while we work on sight transposition or dynamics and expression. I also cover grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity students. My approach is to keep things simple and clear for everyone.

Getting stuck on rhythm is the most common hurdle I fix for students. Actually, we spend time on ear training to improve your overall musicality. I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home. This allows you to check your hand positioning and pedalling technique after the hour ends.
I balance the technical side with expression and dynamics. We move through pieces until they sound polished and professional. I make sure you leave with a clear plan for your next practice. You will be playing with confidence in no time.
