About Isla
Regarding the way I teach, I prefer to keep feedback immediate and direct. You will find we address your vocal range extension and vibrato control in a very granular way.
My background at RAM informs how I approach diction and articulation for singers of all levels. I always integrate microphone technique and rhythm as we build your repertoire.
I provide a personalised song list built around each student's range to ensure your growth. It is practical work. We stay focused on the physiology of your voice.

I admit that my own path was shaped by a constant back and forth between the rigour of RAM and the structural analysis required for languages. I have now supported 357 students through this delicate process.

We work on breathing control and diction to ensure your vocal health remains a priority. I enjoy watching students discover a sense of ease in their range.
