About Sofia
Learning guitar is rarely as straightforward as simply copying hand shapes from a video. Instead, we treat each session as a deep dive into the mechanics of why specific notes sound powerful in a mix.
I draw on my conservatoire training to ensure your technique is ergonomically sound for long practice hours. Whether you are a kid learning chords or a professional refining your soloing, I provide structure for your growth. We focus on electric technique and complex rhythm to keep your progress sharp and measurable. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress to track your technical milestones and performance readiness.
My role as a boys' choir voice change specialist means I am exceptionally patient with students finding their sound. I look forward to hearing your first clean chord progression.

Coming from a BMus Vocal Performance background at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, I treat the fretboard with the same technical precision I apply to voice. Playing guitar feels like solving a puzzle where electric technique meets melodic intuition for kids and working professionals. I spend my days breaking down complex chord transitions so that performance-focused students can play with ease.
Improvisation and soloing become natural extensions of your personality once you master the foundational scales and modes. My 13 years of teaching have taught me that clear instruction creates the fastest path to playing your favourite songs. It is genuinely enjoyable to watch a student bridge the gap between basic strumming patterns and fluid fretboard navigation.
