About Amber
Piano keys became my constant companion during my 11 years in musical theater. My Berklee degree gives me the tools to teach complex jazz improvisation and sight playing.
I focus on hand independence because it is the foundation of true musicality. 13 years of teaching have taught me how to break down rhythm and timing for any learner. I utilize my background to help students master memorization techniques and complex pedaling. I love seeing my students thrive as they build their confidence at the keys.

Playback of a recorded session starts the moment you finish your practice. Reviewing your own performance is the fastest way to refine your pedalling and sight playing skills. I bring my Bachelor of Music training to help students master grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards. My methods work for intermediate learners, performance-focused students, and self-taught players seeking structure.
