About Perry
Hello future students, My name is Perry John Wargo. I have been teaching science for the past 25 years in New York City and Maryland. I have taught High School and Middle School. My specialties are AP Environmental Science, IB Environmental Systems, Earth Science and Biology. I also have a BA in Music Performance, for those of you who are musically inclined. I have a wealth of information and knowledge from my career and my life. I will leave you with this quote from one of my former students. "Mr. Wargo has the best students, why, because Mr. Wargo is the best teacher'. "Why aren't other teachers like you? You really care and we know that".

I teach holistically, encompassing the entire student. I have taught grades 4 through 12. I have written many excellent recommendations for my seniors. One of my students recently said, "Mr. Wargo has the best students, why, because Mr. Wargo is the best teacher". Because of my diverse background I incorporate many different disciplines in my teaching. I don't only incorporate sciences (MA in science), but history, politics, the arts (BA in music), and personal stories about my long career and what can be applicable to the lesson I am teaching. If you don't connect with a student emotionally, then you won't be successful in providing academic support.
