About Linda
Teaching piano happens because silence demands a response. Most people mistakenly think the hands drive the music before the mind understands the architecture of sound.
My 8 years of experience emphasize posture and hand position as the bedrock of physical freedom. I break down rhythm and timing alongside complex chord voicing to make pop and contemporary styles accessible.
We move between sight reading and jazz improvisation to keep the brain engaged. You will find that scales and arpeggios become fluid once you master specific memorization techniques. I have taught 80 students to recognize these patterns over my career.
