About Itzamarie

My name is Mrs. Itzamarie Cora Reyes.

I had experiences teacher from Pre-K to 8th grade and Sped. I am a graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-3 with a certification and experiences as a teacher in Special Education K-12.

I have a certification from the state of Texas as an EC-6 bilingual teacher and Core Subjects EC-6. I has my master's degree in Psychological Intervention in Development and Education.

I have previously taught Head Start, Intermediate, and Special Education for several years.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and currently live with my husband and two children in Texas for 10 years.

2023-2024 I was selected as the Bilingual Teacher of the Year in my school and also nominated as the Teacher of the Year in general at my school here in Texas.

I love teaching because I love making learning fun for others!

About the lesson

I want them to leave with good memories of their time in my classes. I’ve had a lot of students who came to me with a hatred of English and Spanish and left feeling motivated to do more.

On top of that, students never truly leave my classes as I continue to offer support and guidance to them after they leave through socially and academically. It takes so little if my time to do so but the it means a lot to the students to know that the support is there if they need it/ academically, lessons and emotionally.
