About Joshua

I moved to Colombia eight years ago from the United States. I've taught at multiple schools around Colombia. I've also worked for companies and universities around the world. I have experience teaching big businesses such as Teleperformance, Siigo, BVC, etc. I have taught students from age 4 to 70. I love animals and traveling is a passion of mine.

About the lesson

Teaching is a passion of mine. I always motivate my students. My methodology is unique because I focus on repetition and catering to your needs. I have had multiple students go from A2 to B1 in 5 months. My first lesson focuses on figuring out your English level and creating a plan that suits you. I try to implement different dynamics to every class. I believe that speaking and listening are very important and understanding basic grammar is vital to learning the English language. I try to make each of my classes specific to my student by creating personalized PowerPoints and lesson plans for each class. I also teach colloquial English which is important for travelers. I also have some experience teaching business English and have worked with some big-name companies around Colombia. The most important thing to me at the end of every class is that my students leave happy and have learned something.
