About Muriel
I am certified as a substitute teacher. I have a Masters Degree and years of experience working with children of all ages, adults, specifically homeless veterans needing to improve their skill to successfully re-enter society as productive citizens. I find my work rewarding because it allows others to find their potential.

Lessons are always developed around the student’s strength and limitations. I always began with a discussion of why learning this is important and from there we establish some fundamental goals with a definite date to accomplish. This is how the material is determined. No matter what the age, I will incorporate life scenarios where they have to apply what they have learned. Then after each experience together we analyze the effectiveness or lack thereof.
