About Lena
Hello, my name is Mrs. Murphy. I have been working with children of all ages for over thirty years. I have taught in the public education for over ten years. I have six grandchildren and two grown daughters. My experience with kids goes far beyond a classroom. Reading to children and teaching them to read is very important and I encourage them to use their imagination. To me you can go anywhere you want in this world by reading about it. There is so much positive information out there and it is my job to show students a good world. Knowledge is important for growth and a curious mind can be a happy one.

I believe a person can excel anywhere by learning. They can travel anywhere in the world by reading. Mountains of knowledge can be achieved by peaks of interest. Over the years I have taught elementary, middle school, special needs and In school suspension. Many of the students have challenges but with time, understanding, and care all of them were capable of learning.
