About Kevin
My name is Kevin Ayoub, a guitar student at Santa Fe College. I have played instruments and been given private instruction almost my whole life starting on piano when I was about 6. Then bass, guitar, and drums. I have been taught guitar formally on a college level for 4 years now, and have experience teaching fellow peers on the side. I play in my local scene very often, and have experience dealing with all the pressures of a stage, as a guitarist, vocalist, bassist, and band leader.

I love music! As a musician, I want to share my experience and knowledge to help you reach your personal goals, or simply just to challenge yourself! I include many mnemonic tools to help bolster confidence in theory skills which will quickly enhance guitar playing, taking you to the next level. My lessons are personalized around the student's musical tastes, because I believe in the idea that guitar is fun! Lessons should be both a joyful experience and a teaching moment. As a jazz guitarist, I have experience reading sheet music on the spot, and learning solos on the fly, and know how to translate that to tablature for any skill level of guitarist.
