About Haaris
I am studying the Master of Teaching & Learning at the University of Waikato. I have 16 years of teaching experience, 12 of them with the Cambridge curriculum, and want to utilize my skills to help students learn effectively. My lessons are interactive, and aim to develop conceptual understanding through discussions and demonstrations. I like using interactive online demonstrations where possible, and want my learners to actively participate and contribute during the lesson. I also focus on getting plenty of practice, both with numerical problems and explanations/descriptions. Ultimately, my lessons focus on where my students need the most help.
