About Kalpana

I am an experienced Electrical Engineering and Physics educator with over 9 years of teaching and laboratory supervision experience at university and polytechnic levels. I hold a Master’s degree in Embedded System Technologies and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. My academic background includes working as an Assistant Professor and Lab Instructor, where I taught core engineering subjects such as Circuit Theory, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Measurement & Instrumentation, and Engineering Physics. I have extensive experience in laboratory setup, student supervision, safety management, and virtual lab demonstrations. I am passionate about helping students develop strong conceptual foundations and practical skills through structured, interactive, and student-focused teaching. I integrate real-world examples, simulations, and problem-solving approaches to make learning effective and engaging. Currently based in Ajman, UAE, I offer online and home tuition with flexible scheduling. I am committed to supporting students in achieving academic excellence and confidence in engineering and physics subjects.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to build strong conceptual understanding combined with practical application. I focus on explaining complex Electrical Engineering and Physics topics in a clear, structured, and student-friendly way, making them easy to understand and apply. Each session begins with a brief assessment of the student’s current level, followed by step-by-step explanation of concepts using diagrams, real-world examples, and numerical problem-solving techniques. I ensure students understand why a concept works, not just how to solve problems. For practical and lab-based subjects, I incorporate virtual lab demonstrations and simulations using tools such as MATLAB, Multisim, Proteus, and LabVIEW, helping students connect theory with real engineering applications. Emphasis is also placed on laboratory safety, correct procedures, and troubleshooting methods. I support students with: University exam preparation Assignments and project guidance Concept revision and doubt clarification Practical lab understanding and viva preparation My teaching style is interactive, patient, and results-oriented, encouraging questions and critical thinking. Lessons can be conducted online or at home, with flexible scheduling to suit the student’s availability.
