About Brittany
Sight playing, hand independence, and music theory form the backbone of my technical approach. Do you wonder if your hands can work together with natural ease? I draw upon my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and my minor in piano to help hobbyists and advanced learners alike. Teaching piano is a two-way street where I encourage singers to phrase like instrumentalists and pianists to find their voice.
After 11 years of instruction, I recognize that teens and grade exam candidates need a clear path to mastery. I focus on dynamics, expression, and pedaling to turn simple notes into actual music. My process is simple.

Customizing the curriculum means I start with what you might assume is the hardest part. Usually, breaking down complex memorisation techniques into small sections reveals that the most difficult passages are actually quite manageable. Because I hold a degree from Berklee, I integrate accompaniment skills into our standard theory and technique work.
I provide a free trial lesson to map out your goals so we can track your development from day 1. My experience allows me to spot minor tension issues before they become habits. We build your repertoire to ensure you reach your musical destination.
