About Lori
"Picking up a guitar at age 5 set the trajectory for my entire life. Teaching actually started as a simple side gig, though I honestly prefer it to playing shows now. 13 years of professional gigging across the West Coast fuels my approach.
My degree from Belmont University in Music Industry provides a strong foundation for the theory I teach. I have worked with 100 students ranging from beginners to intermediate players tired of pentatonic jail. It just feels right."

"Turning your knobs to get that perfect tube amp crunch is where we start. Before we touch the fretboard, we dial in your tone so you sound exactly like the records you love.
It beats starting with boring drills. We cover songwriting, fingerpicking, power chords, reading sheet music, scales and modes, and reading tabs.
I have a 6-minute practice module for every lesson to keep your momentum going. My Belmont background ensures your technique is solid as we refine your sound. Hope to hear you rock soon."
