About Matilda
I am a passionate and experienced singing tutor with 15 years of teaching college students, and I am dedicated to helping each student unlock their full vocal potential. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong technical foundation while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
I guide students through essential vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal strength, and flexibility, ensuring that they develop a healthy and well-controlled voice.
In addition to technical training, I emphasize performance skills like stage presence, emotional expression, and audience connection, helping students become confident performers. I use innovative tools such as audio recording, playback analysis, and structured practice sessions to help students clearly track their progress and improve effectively.
I also encourage students to explore different music genres and experiment with their voice, helping them discover their own unique style. My lessons are personalized, supportive, and interactive.

My teaching style for Singing combines motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management to help students achieve their goals. I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to improve.
I focus on teaching key vocal techniques such as breathing, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and voice control in a simple and structured way. I maintain open communication so students can ask questions and share their challenges.
I use creative teaching methods like vocal exercises, song interpretation, and expressive singing to make lessons engaging. Each class is well-organized with time for warm-ups, practice, and feedback, ensuring steady progress.
I also review progress regularly. In addition to Singing, I also teach related subjects like music theory, listening skills, and stage confidence.
