About Aleks

I have been tutoring Design Technology at GCSE, A-Level and IB for the past three years. I work in the design Industry, achieved a First-Class degree in Architecture from the University of Newcastle, an AQA Design & Technology Qualification to an A* standard and I also achieved an A*AA in my other three A-Levels.

About the lesson

I have a variety of resources that helped me to achieve top grades in my 4 A-Levels. I can both share these and teach you to create your own, whilst teaching or revising sections of the Design and Technology Curriculum that you are uncertain or unconfident about.

My session with Nurefsan was really enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and I feel confident that we can make a lot of progress in our lessons together. We need to work on her confidence when answering questions, as she often knows the answer but second guesses herself. I think she has the potential to do well in her exams, and we will work together to make sure this happens.

He has a range of examples to make remembering things easier, and uses lots of questions to test how well my son is remembering things. He’s adapted his lesson styles to suit my son’s needs, and this has really helped him to improve at school too.

When Aleks teaches my daughter, he shows a lot of passion for the subject. His lesson style works really well for her, and he incorporates videos and recap questions in, to check that she is remembering what he has taught.

When she has tests or mock exams coming up, they go through past papers and different ways of revising.
