About Farzin
I received in B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Shiraz University in 1990, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in laser optic from Khaje-Nasiredin Tousi and Tarbiyat Modares of Tehran-Iran in 1994 and 2002, respectively.
From 2001 I worked on semiconductor lasers simulations and variety of optoelectronic devices and I managed to graduate more than 50 master's students and 12 PhD students in the field of laser and optics engineering.
From Jan. 2022, I have been living in Melbourne-Australia and I have a part time collaboration with Deakin University.

The courses are offered to electrical engineering students in different fields of study. The following policy is followed in each lesson section:
1. Introducing the standard texts and explaining the details of the selected subject(s), based on the latest methods,
2. Reviewing each topic with a number of examples and problems,
3. Asking some questions to evaluate the understanding of the mentioned material,
4. Giving homework to the student to solve and submit for the next session,
5. Monitoring the student's progress during the sessions and presenting the performance report to him/her,
6. Online exam after each two sessions (exam time is not counted as class time)
