About Denis

My name is Denis Latun and I have been in this sport for almost 14 year at this point. My journey began with doing Judo in Eastern Europe where over a span of 6 years, I have managed to collect over a dozen of national and international titles.

Then I moved to UK where my transition into MMA took place alongside with Boxing and BJJ. I have been successfully competing in these disciplines for the past 7 years, winning on the national MMATV shows, securing a European BJJ Cup gold, beating boxing national champions, as well as getting to the national ABA quarter finals.

I have been teaching private boxing and MMA lessons since 2020 with 20+ satisfied clients. Since the last year, I am also managing the Brave Boxing gym which we have opened with my friend. So far we have managed to provide our boxing knowledge to over 30 satisfied students.

About the lesson

My specialty is individual training development which allows me to assess people’s strengths and weaknesses and then work with them to achieve maximum progress.

I always begin by teaching my students the fundamental aspects of boxing, such as proper stance, footwork drills, as well as moving while maintaining the correct form and position. Once a student feels confident, I introduce a jab, which is one of the most frequently used punch in boxing. As the students advance, I demonstrate how to throw different punches while in motion, as well as various techniques for attacking, defending, and countering.
