About Mark
I’m currently Head of Maths at a school in Bristol and have taught in a variety of schools across England and New Zealand, working with students of all levels. I really enjoy tutoring maths and supporting students to achieve their goals. Alongside my teaching career, I’ve tutored a lot, helping students prepare for Maths Challenges as well as entrance exams for Oxford and Cambridge, it's been really enjoyable. A little about me: I love solving puzzles and enjoy playing board games with friends. I’m also an active sports fan, playing football and rugby and going on bike rides. In fact, last year I combined two of my passions by cycling from England to Germany to watch a football match!

I offer friendly and engaging tutoring sessions designed to help you achieve your goals. I also hope that I will help you to find Maths fun and enjoyable like I do! I have 10 years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of the curriculum. As Head of Maths at a secondary school in Bristol, I specialise in tutoring secondary students (GCSE and A-level), but I also have experience working with primary school Year 6 pupils and university-level maths. Typically, lessons last 50–60 minutes, which I find is best for maintaining focus. Double sessions are available if preferred. Together we can develop a personalised plan that fits your needs and helps you achieve your full potential.
