I have known Jonathan for most of his life, as he has been my son's friend for 20 years. As a teenager, Jon spent countless hours in our home and we have maintained a close relationship even as Jon entered adulthood.

I am a retired teacher and although I did not teach Jon, it was a small high school and I interacted with him often. His academic career reflects an astute mind, collegial temperament, and tireless work ethic. These qualities remain inherent in his personality as an adult.

Jon embraces an academic life, actively pursuing his interests in history, politics, science, art, and philosophy. Despite a natural affinity for sciences, Jon is also a gifted artist and musician.

Jon was employed as a tutor during his time at UNB and has also given music lessons. He has a mature understanding and empathy for the challenges people struggle to overcome, qualities that make him a strong teacher.

As well, Jon is patient, has a sense of humour, and genuinely enjoys interacting with others. I believe he would excel as a tutor.
