About Addison

I am currently working towards a BSc in Health Sciences while beginning my career as a paramedic. Located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, when I'm not in a hospital or studying I enjoy spending time with my friends either in person or playing video games. I also enjoy painting, watching true crime shows, or catching up on well-deserved sleep!

About the lesson

Are you looking to start a career as a paramedic? Or hoping to solidify your base set of skills?
As a current student myself, I know how overwhelming the education world of paramedicine can be. I'm looking to teach students who are new to paramedic care and health sciences and who want to build a strong foundation of the fundamental skills you need to succeed as a paramedic, both in the classroom and in the real world!

What do I offer?
→ A hands-on and visual learning approach that is easy to absorb and understand
→ Personalized lesson planning (If there is a particular area you want to focus on studying, e.g. cardiology, we can focus on that!)
→ Flexible timing that works with the schedule of someone doing shift work (Available to do evening/nighttime lessons)
→ Ability to book private space for in-person lessons, or willing to travel within the lower mainland to be closer to you!

Regional Specific Lessons
→ Lessons specific to British Columbia EMALB licensing, both written and practical exams
→ Can host simulation study sessions, practicing both medical and trauma practical exams with the possibility of using required equipment

I know Addison through the JIBC Primary Care Paramedic program. Addison excels at curating realistic, yet creative, simulations that are both engaging and informative. She also has extensive knowledge of the textbook required for BC's EMR written exam.

Addison would be excellent for beginners looking for supplemental guidance throughout an EMR course, or those in need of preparation for licensing examinations through EMALB.
