About Riyan
I am really enthusiastic about musical theatre. As I have said, I am currently an acting student at Solent University. However, I have studied acting since I was 5 and music since secondary. Before my singing lessons, I was a terrible singer but upon learning and practising, I have learned how to control my voice. I enjoy karaoke and have been in a fair number of performances throughout my schooling years. My first major role was as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. When I was in college, I was in a band which, while they were of all genres, my band would make the songs sound more akin to musical theatre. Currently, I am writing my own musical based on Giselle the ballet.

When you start out, your first lesson will be completely free as this will be me getting to know what your vocality is like. Please tell me beforehand a song you would like to look into learning first. We will look at vocal exercises, breath control, pitch matching and emotion. I will use different vocal techniques depending on your specific voice and the song you wish to sing. Whenever you wish to learn a different song, tell me and from the following lesson we will begin looking into it.
