I have 14 years of experience. I like to build rapport with students and try to create a fun "no-pressure" environment. I identify the students needs and structure my teaching style based on them. This usually starts with a conversations and progresses into the topic that I will have prepared, unless the student has something specific they need help with. I like to provide students with tools to continue learning on their own and giving them opportunities to practice what they are learning and speak as much as they can. Sometimes this may involve "homework". I try to keep my teaching style flexible because every student has different wants, needs, interests and abilities. Finally, I do my best to grow my students confidence and have fun as I've found this goes a very long way to actually learning and enjoying classes.
