Hello!
I am a Canadian teacher, currently instructing at a primary school in the UK. I am bilingual (French and English) and have three years experience as a full-time teacher. Back home in Canada I taught French Immersion for Grades 5 and 6. To elaborate further, French Immersion means that I was a regular classroom teacher instructing most subjects in the French language. I presently teach French in Key Stage 2 and also have experience teaching French in Key Stage 3.
I am also trained extensively in Maths. Grade 6 students (Year 7) in Canada must complete a standardised test in Maths and English and I assisted my year level in reaching above the provincial target for the subject.
I also hold some experience teaching EAL to children in Year 4.
My hobbies outside of teaching include travel, music, photography, knitting, trivia, and Netflix.
