And yes I would be teaching korean from the scratch and I can assure that you guys will be able to read, write and have a basic conversation on your own within 2 months of the session.

I would start the session with the very basic which is the Hangeul including the reading, writing and speaking included. Then will cover up the basic grammar with vocabulary and will also conduct listening sessions which would help you to understand the pronounciation of a native speaker.
