About Utyzia
I promise there isn’t a painting, drawing, a poem, or sketch that would make me look at you in a “bad way.” Most children get nervous to draw, write, paint about their true feelings. As a teacher, I aim to provide the best safe space and ears to a student of the arts. To teach art is simply a tool to help you better understand your emotions. Why and when certain emotions happen. How art can be a great coping mechanism, often leading to a route of healthy distraction and fine motor skills and sensory play.

Take this class with me to learn fun ways to express yourself. Sometimes our words don’t or can’t accurately convey the message we want to send. Art, can be a new tool to help you with that. We will have fun, you’ll learn so much about yourself through art, how it can be traced back to every subject in school. I actually became proficient in math using art!
