About Mariela
I am a 19 year old Guatemalan student in the University of California, Riverside. In high school, I spent my time after school helping other students relearn material that they were struggling in! I earned a medal in highschool for earning 200+ volunteering hours by helping in and out the community/school. I am also a sister of 3 younger students so I have the patient and endurance to work with younger or older students!

My goal is to get your student from a basic student speaker to a fluent and understanding learner.
Basics- alphabets, numbers, punctuation
Middle- simple words, verbs, pronouns (very important in Spanish), [use of gender in words, very interesting in Spanish] ex. Table (eng)
Mesa (feminine pronunciation, Spanish)
Advanced- making phrases, sentences, reading comprehension, creative writing, and (anything specific the student would love to go over)
Throughout all of this work, I will test the student to see how they’re understanding the material and review their work.
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me! I can teach all ages; working at a younger age allows the student to retain more information but at any age you can learn!
