About Robert
I'm a filmmaker and former scientist from Western Massachusetts. I work in socially minded, cinematic forms, blending fiction and documentary. Before I changed careers, I worked as a genetic engineer at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, after grad school in Neuroscience. I love comedy, writing, politics and history.

I use a gradual progression system to onboard students into a casual but rigorous learning environment. I tailor the syllabus to students individually and apply dynamic, intuitive methods to make bland subjects colorful again. I work across a range of subjects from Creative Writing to Filmmaking to Essay Structure, and from Intro Biology to CRISPR Engineering.
