About Anita

Hi! I'm a 26-year-old science graduate living in London with a real passion for Biology and education. I studied Biomedical Science at UCL and completed a Master’s in Public Health at Imperial College London, where I developed a deep interest in how science connects to real-world issues. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand and enjoy science, especially students who may be struggling with confidence or finding traditional methods unhelpful. As someone with dyslexia, I know how important it is to have support that works for you, not just the textbook. Teaching allows me to share my love for Biology in a way that's practical, encouraging, and tailored. Whether you're aiming for top grades or trying to rebuild confidence in your learning, I want to help you realise your full potential.

About the lesson

I take a calm, patient, and personalised approach to tutoring. Everyone learns differently, and my goal is to make Biology feel clear, manageable, and—even enjoyable! Having dyslexia myself, I understand how challenging traditional learning methods can be. That’s why I tailor each lesson to your learning style, using clear explanations, visual aids, active recall, and plenty of encouragement. My lessons are: Student-led – We focus on what you need help with most Visual & practical – Diagrams, mind maps, and real-world examples Exam-focused – Past paper practice, mark scheme breakdowns, and revision strategies that work Supportive – No pressure, no judgement—just a space to build skills and confidence at your pace I know what it’s like to feel stuck or overwhelmed by dense content. I’m here to break it down, help you see the bigger picture, and build a strong foundation in Biology.
