Hello! I'm James, a first class graduate of Military history and International studies at the University of Kent. For A-Levels I received two A* in History and Philosophy and an A in Geography.

About James
I've always been interested in teaching from a young age, and now that university is finished I have the time to begin training as a secondary school teacher.
As someone who struggled a lot with academics at school I know how challenging it can be. However once you know the methods that work for you it becomes a lot easier! Hopefully that's what we can find in our sessions.

My techniques and methodology will be tailored to your personal needs. Personally, I always found creating flashcards and mind maps to be particularly helpful. Lessons will be around 55 minutes long (open to your input).
I've have a vast experience of working with kids, being a volunteer at my local church youth group and working with HCPT to take vulnerable adults and children on holiday to Lourdes.
I am more than happy to assist with GCSE and A-Level history and can help with RE and philosophy.
