I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. My favorite genres are metal and rock; everything from uptempo thrash and death metal, to the slower doom and stoner metal. I also like classic rock and hard rock as well. I can teach you how to read tablature, play power chords, open chords, barre chords, how to tune your guitar, how to set up your amp and pedals, and how to play some of your favorite riffs. The goal is to get you to a level of proficiency where you can play a lot of your favorite songs, and even be able to write your own if you wish, and of course get to a level of proficiency where it becomes fun to play.
