About Katie
Hi I’m Katie! I’ve worked with many different age groups all at different skill levels. As a Fellowship student in collage I learned that there are many different ways to teach. Ceramics can be very difficult to conceptualize but I have had a lot of success in helping others by explaining in many different ways, to find what your learning style connects with. Ceramics should be fun but I understand it can also be frustrating! So if you are struggling or you need a challenge to expand your portfolio please come have a chat!

My life passion and calling is ceramics. I am obsessed with pottery and helping others find joy with it too. While working towards my degree I was able to become proficient in coil work, hand building, and throwing on a wheel. Depending on your skill level I can make a lesson plan just for you focusing on what you would like to make and what skills you want to learn. I have many different methods to help improve your abilities where ever you start.
