About Elliot
I am starting my undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester combining my two major passions, mathematics and Art, to study Architecture.
I want to tutor mathematics as I have always enjoyed helping friends of mine work through their problems with a topic until they reach an in-depth understanding of it and become capable of correctly completing any question that comes up on that area. I find that final moment of realisation that I help the reach incredibly satisfying which makes me passionate to help.
As a young person I hope to bring some more fun aspects to the sessions as I think retaining information is much easier if its presented in an enjoyable way. I also believe communication is key, I would love for my students to send me questions they have throughout the week, so I know what to work on with them so we all get the most out of our Structured learning time.

I have always been passionate about mathematics and enjoyed the logical processes which this subject demands. I received a 9 in GCSE mathematics and an A* in A Level mathematics this year.
As a current student I understand, from personal experience, there are a multitude of ways students learn and that if a specific topic, question type or even entire subject is not “clicking”, I would try a new approach, tailored to how my student processes information.
I am very happy to tutor any age group, from primary school children attempting to get into secondary school, all the way up to A Level students. I offer a free first session where I will speak to you as the student and parents/ guardians to understand what level the student is, what qualifications they are attempting to recieve and how they best learn. As a University student I have a similar timetable to younger students so I will be available in the most convenient times of day. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
