About the lesson

Hello my name is Iona Donnelly and I am a third year medical student, studying at the University of Birmingham, with plenty of passion and experience in tutoring. I offer A-level Biology and Chemistry tuition, as well as tuition in the sciences and maths at GCSE. I'm also able to offer help and advice for anyone applying to Medical School, including personal statement and interview preparation.

I am DBS/CRB checked and have plenty of experience working with children and teenagers of all ages.

I first starting tutoring at the age of 5, when I would come home and teach my younger sister everything that I had learned that day at school, this was when I discovered my love of teaching. My skill set has grown in the past few years and in year 13 I regularly tutored GCSE level science, before being promoted to head of the whole tutoring system at my school, which even involved teaching the new tutors how to teach.

I will tailor all sessions to your individual needs, taking into account your specific exam syllabus and I will strive to teach you in the way that best suits your style of learning.
