About Lauren
I received 1st place in Illinois and 3rd place nationally in the bilingual section of the Grand Concours, the National French Language competition.
I previously worked in Paris, France in a French only speaking environment where I was a translator and wrote French texts for the company’s programming.

I am bilingual and have fluent reading and writing proficiency. I am comfortable tutoring all levels of French and conversing with students at any level.
I believe language learning should cover general culture, speaking, writing, and reading with strong foundations in grammar and spelling.
A typical lesson plan would be curated to the learner’s priorities. My goal is always to ascertain learning styles and work towards a student’s goals with an engaging lesson plan.
