About Lillan

Hello! I’m Lillan. I’m a trainee lawyer currently completing my SQE qualification in England, but outside of work and study, I’m passionate about languages, learning, and helping others grow. I’m native French and fluent in four languages, which reflects my love for communication and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

I’m someone who values curiosity, patience, and a positive approach to challenges. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, and I love seeing students gain confidence and achieve their goals. I try to make every lesson friendly, interactive, and encouraging, while still keeping it focused and productive.

Outside tutoring, I enjoy reading, exploring new cultures, and sharing knowledge—and I bring that same enthusiasm to every session. My aim is not just to teach, but to inspire students to enjoy learning and feel confident in their abilities.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured but flexible and always tailored to the student’s needs. I focus on:
• Clear explanations and breaking down complex ideas into simple steps
• Interactive learning through discussion, examples, and practice
• Developing confidence, analytical thinking, and strong writing skills
• Practical exercises and feedback to ensure real progress

For language tutoring, I combine conversation practice, grammar support, and vocabulary building. For academic subjects (such as law or essay writing), I focus on critical thinking, structure, and exam techniques.

Typical lessons last 60 minutes, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs. Lessons can include explanation of concepts, guided exercises, discussion, and review of written work.

I hold a law degree and am currently completing the SQE qualification to become a lawyer in England. My studies and professional training have given me strong skills in analysis, argumentation, academic writing, and exam preparation, which I bring into my tutoring.
