About Prisha
I am currently a junior at Del Norte High School about to transition into my senior year. My passions include, but are not limited to, math, history, creating and listening to music, playing video games, and writing. I decided to start tutoring students in math because of how much I enjoy sharing my passions with others. My long-term goal is for students to really understand that if they can make the most out of math, they can make the most out of anything they do in life.

As long as I can remember, I have minimally struggled with math in school and, if I ever did, I used those struggles as an opportunity to learn from my mistakes and become a better math student, and I'm sure your student can do the same with my help. I usually will ask a student to show me their homework problems that they need help with, otherwise I give them practice problems from textbooks and worksheets centered around the level they're struggling with and ask them to give one takeaway per tutoring session to ensure that their learning is growing. I also make my own worked out solutions to check with the student's work to compare both our understandings. I charge $25 an hour and typically do one-hour sessions per week per student, decided upon by the student's family's preferences and my availability.
