About Lauren
I am currently a graduate student with a bachelors degree in cell and molecular biology. Being a student myself for many years, I understand the anxiety, overwhelm, and even frustration that can come with learning new things. It is important as students to not lose faith in ourselves and our ability to learn new concepts. Your glass ceiling is whatever you allow it to be. Wherever you are stuck, having a good tutor can help you get past those obstacles and push yourself to learn things that may feel challenging or even impossible.

I am a college graduate that has taken science and math courses through Calculus II. I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school age children in various subjects and approach teaching in a logical and patient manner. I take into consideration various learning styles, whether auditory, kinesthetic, or visual, and tailor my teaching to each student's individual needs. My fundamental philosophy is that the brain has neuroplasticity, meaning we are all capable of learning new concepts and skills.
