Hello, I am a qualified, patient and dedicated Primary teacher with 3 years experience class teaching and many more years experience working with children in different educational settings. I currently live in Bristol and enjoy supply teaching in schools across Bristol as well as exploring the city and surounding area in my free time.
I am confident in teaching across the Primary age range. However, I specialise in teaching Key Stage 2 children and can therefore help with preparing for SATs tests, school entry exams and any understanding and confidence building across the Primary Curriculum. I have a 2:1 in Law from Durham University and a PGCE from Devon Primary School Centred Initial Teacher Training.
Considering how essential maths and English are, I make sure that I find ways to make these subjects as engaging and relevant as possuble and can also encorporate them into other subjects.
When working with children, I particularly enjoy building self-esteem in an area a child finds difficult or daunting and helping them overcome this so that they can enjoy and achieve. I hope I can offer this help for you.
